A self-taught artist, what began as a simple exploration soon blossomed into a revelation: the power of words to convey joy, inspiration, and connection.
With each creation, Cortlan discovered a sense of fulfillment in bringing her thoughts and emotions to life, and as her confidence grew, Cortlan began sharing her newfound skill with those closest to her.
In the spirit of sharing, in 2019, CWB Designs was born—a labor of love infused with Cortlan’s blend of creativity and authenticity. CWB, an acronym for Cortlan’s initials, is not just a name, it’s her personal commitment to crafting hand lettered treasures that spoke directly to the heart.
